lotto winner sligo jackpot grows

The jackpot currently sits at over €19 million.

A Lotto player in Sligo has received an early Christmas present via a winning Lotto Plus 1 ticket for €1 million euro.

The name of the shop that sold the winning ticket is due to be named on Monday (15 November).

The winning numbers for last night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 11, 15, 29, 30, 45, 47 and the bonus was 44.

There were no winners of last night’s jackpot, which currently sits at €19,060,800, the largest in Irish history.

Two players in Galway and Dublin matched 5 numbers plus the bonus, taking home €517,001 each.

The player in Dublin purchased their ticket via lottery.ie, and have been notified of their winnings.

The ticket in Galway was sold at Murphy’s Centra store in Bóthar an Chóiste in Castlegar.

“What a win this is. I am absolutely over the moon for whoever won it”, said Michael Murphy, manager of the Centra in Castlegar since 2006.

“What makes it really satisfying is that the vast majority of my customers are all local and knowing that one of them is a half a million euro richer this morning is fantastic. I’m looking forward to spreading the good news today and we’ll make sure that everybody in the area checks their tickets to make sure that they claim this prize. This is absolutely brilliant!”

The National Lottery are advising the Lotto Plus 1 winner of €1 million in Sligo and the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus winner of €517,001 from Galway to sign the back of their tickets and to keep them in a safe place.

The three biggest winners from last night’s draw should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] so they can collect their prizes.

The next Lotto draw will take place this Wednesday (17 November).
