Brilliant news.
Apple CEO Tim Cook is in Cork today and he’s brought an early Christmas present with the announcement of 1,000 new jobs for their operations in the city.
The company already employs 5,000 people between their sites at Hollyhill and Lavitt’s Quay. The new building is expected to be built at the Hollyhill campus.
Great news that Apple will be expanding its campus in Cork and creating 1,000 additional jobs. Great boost for Cork and the whole country!

The 1,000 new employees are expected to be in place by mid-2017.
