The bus was involved in a collision near Liffey Valley last Sunday.
Gardaí are investigating an incident in which a Dublin Bus was stolen and subsequently involved in a collision last Sunday (30 August).
The bus was stolen from Harristown Bus Depot at approximately 4.30pm on Sunday and was later involved in a collision near Liffey Valley. No injuries occurred as a result.
Gardaí say that a male youth attended a Garda Station in relation to the incident.
In a statement to JOE, a spokesperson for Dublin Bus said: "Dublin Bus confirms that an incident took place on Sunday evening (30 August) involving a bus from our Harristown Depot. One individual was on board the bus at the time of the incident. The vehicle was out of service and no passengers were on board.
"The matter is under investigation by An Garda Síochána and Dublin Bus has also commenced an internal investigation."
