Man in his 20s seriously injured after road crash in Kerry

Gardaí are appealing to the public for information.

A man has been seriously injured following a road crash in Kilcummin in Kerry on Thursday (28 April).

The collision involved one car and occurred in the townland of Buddihans at around 4.10am.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, was taken to Kerry University Hospital where his condition is described as serious.

Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have information in relation to the crash to contact them.

Any person that may have observed a gold-coloured Toyota Yaris travelling in Kilcummin and surrounding areas is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.

Similarly, any road users who were travelling in the Kilcummin area between 4.00am and 4.50am on Thursday and who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, are urged to make it available to An Garda Síochána.

A Garda spokesperson said investigations into the crash are ongoing.
