The man was wearing a fake explosive vest and threatening police.
On the one-year anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, there has been another violent incident in Paris after the police have shot dead a man that was brandishing a knife and wearing a fake explosive vest at a station in the 18th arrondissement.
The incident occurred just before midday, almost one-year to the minute since the attacks on the satirical magazine that claimed the lives of 12 people and 5 others at a nearby supermarket.
According to AP, the suspect was wearing a fake explosive vest and threatening the police inside the station. Bomb disposal teams and anti-terrorist investigators were quickly on the scene.

French officials say the man shouted “Allahu Akbar!” (God is Great) outside the police station in Goutte d’Or, near Montmartre, before the police shot and killed him.
