He appeared in court this afternoon.
A man has been charged with the murders of Aidan Moffitt and Michael Snee.
He has been named as Yousef Palani, a 22-year-old with an address at Markievicz Heights in Sligo.
The accused also faces a third charge of assault causing serious harm following an incident on 9 April.
The man was arrested by Gardaí at approximately 1.45am on Wednesday.
This was after Gardaí on Tuesday night were called to an apartment at Connaughton Road where the body of Mr Snee, 58, was discovered.
Meanwhile, on Monday evening, Gardaí attended a house at Cartron Heights where they discovered the body of Mr Moffitt, 42.
The 22-year-old appeared before Sligo District Court on Thursday at 4.45pm.
