Man dies following “serious incident” in Dublin

A man in his 50s has died following what Gardaí called a “serious incident” in Dublin.

Gardaí are investigating the death of the man following an incident that occurred at approximately 12am on Monday morning in the Tymon Road North area of Tallaght, Dublin 24.

A man in his late 50s was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.

A man in his early 30s has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
