The incident occurred shortly after 3am on Saturday morning.
A man in his late 20s has died after he was struck by two cars while crossing the road in Dundalk in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred on the R132, Old Newry Road in Dundalk at 3.15am and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both cars involved in the incident were uninjured.
The road at the scene is closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
