The man is now in an induced coma in a hospital in the north of England.
Only yesterday we had a severed penis story and today, we have another. This time a man was found on the A66 motorway near Middlesbrough in the early hours of this morning with his penis chopped off.
The man, who police describe was in a ‘distressed state’ (no kidding) was found on the road at 4.50am and police immediately took him to hospital.
The Northern Echo report that the victim was in his 40s and that the police have arrested someone on suspicion of assault.
“A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently in police custody,” said a spokeswoman for Cleveland Police.
