Sounds like a plot-line right out of a more x-rated version of Breaking Bad.
Fans of Breaking Bad will be acutely aware of the effect that methamphetamine can have on those who use it, but you’ll rarely hear anything as bizarre or disturbing as what happened to a man in Oregon who was under the influence of the drug while sitting in a restaurant in recent days.
According to The Oregonian, police were summoned to the restaurant in question after 37-year old Andrew Frey, who was reportedly under the influence of the drug at the time, made a series of outbursts that were upsetting other customers.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Frey then began publicly masturbating in the restaurant and managed to do so while temporarily fighting off the attention of police officers, whose original attempts to use a taser to stop him in the act failed.
In the end, it took 15 police officers to put a stop to Frey’s rather gratuitous act and after being taken to a local hospital for treatment, he was then thrown into a county jail on charges of public indecency, theft of services and resisting arrest.
Any embarrassment Frey may have felt when he eventually came around might have been reduced by the fact that, surprise, surprise, he claims not to remember any of it due to being under the influence of methamphetamine, although we’re sure that there’s any amount of eyewitnesses and CCTV footage on hand to remind him of his behaviour if he felt the need for proof.
And you thought you had a wild Christmas...
