Homenews

We love stories like this.

If ever there were proof needed that taking a risk will land you good fortune, this is it. Last year, Alfred Ajani stood at Waterloo Station with a sign that said 'Marketing Graduate (BA Hons 2.1 Coventry Uni) Ask For A CV' and received widespread praise on Twitter for his alternative to spending hours on LinkedIn getting nowhere. Well, this is a good news story if ever there was one... Ajani   Ajani returned to the station this week with a new sign that said, 'Now I'm Hiring,' having been snapped up by recruitment consultants The Asoria Group. He was hired by the company for the innovative way he went about marketing himself, and now they're expanding. "Advice I would give to graduates: Don’t be scared; safe is risky. Be ready to promote yourself and your ideas. It only has to work once for it to be a success," he said in an interview last year. "I am really interested in engaging in self-promotion activities and encouraging passive jobs seekers to get active."
