“I send a kiss to everyone.”
On Tuesday night, it was reported that Maradona had been rushed to a hospital.
The 57-year-old was in attendance at Argentina’s 2-1 victory over Nigeria on Tuesday night, which saw them qualify for the round of 16 in the World Cup.
He was extremely animated throughout the entirety of the match, but appears to have been taken to hospital since the full-time whistle.
Maradona had been seen dancing with Nigerian fans before the game started, and giving the middle finger when Marcos Rojo scored the winner.
He also appeared to fall asleep at one stage during the game.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning (locally), Maradona posted to Instagram to let his fans know that all was well, and that the stories of him being taken to hospital were false:
“I want to tell everyone that I am fine, that I am not (sic), neither was I interned. In the halftime of the game against Nigeria, my neck hurt a lot and I suffered a decompensation. I was checked by a doctor and he recommended me to go home before the second half, but I wanted to stay because we were risking it all. How could I leave? I send a kiss to everyone, thanks for the support!”
