Massive road diversions in place in Dublin as bomb disposal unit investigates suspect package

The suspect device was reported to have been discovered in Dublin 12.

Drimnagh Road in Walkinstown has been closed in both directions after a suspect device was discovered in a licenced premises.

Speaking to JOE, the Garda Press Office confirmed that there are road diversion in place in the area, and that the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) unit have been requested.

Inbound traffic is being advised to divert to Walkinstown Road, while outbound drivers are being told to divert to Errigal Road.
