Big news for all the McMuffin lovers out there.

McDonald’s breakfast is back on the menu at 80 restaurants across Ireland as of Wednesday morning (8 July).

Wednesday will be a big day for a number of reasons if you’re a McDonald’s lover, as a number of walk-in takeaways across the country have also reopened.

Walk-in takeaways are now open in the McDonald’s located in Mahon Point, Dun Laoghaire, O’Connell Street, Limerick, Crumlin and Liffey Valley.

And if that’s still not enough, the McMuffin has also returned!

Anyone else starving all of a sudden?

The full McDonald’s menu is still yet to return, and opening hours will continue to vary at certain stores. More information can be found here.

Perspex screens have been installed in McDonald’s kitchens, service areas and drive-thru windows and additional protective equipment has been provided for restaurant teams, including disposable gloves for people in customer and courier facing positions and face coverings.

Customers are also being asked to use contactless payment methods and cap their spend at €30 wherever possible.
