We reckon you’ve missed some of these bad boys.

Having closed all of its restaurants in Ireland at the end of March due to Covid-19, McDonald’s has recently reopened outlets throughout the country for drive-thru and walk-in takeaway services.

Included in a number of measures introduced to facilitate reopening was a limited menu for customers, but the menu will be expanded again from next week.

Next week, Shakes, Mayo Chicken, Bacon Mayo Chicken, Hot Chocolate and the Bacon Double Cheeseburger will all rejoin the menu at the chain of fast food restaurants.

Breakfast will also be an option for a number of restaurants across the country, though opening hours may vary.

As well as this, some restaurants will also start to serve later into the evening, returning to 24-hour service in some locations, which will be revealed at a later date.

Perspex screens have been installed in McDonald’s kitchens, service areas and drive-thru windows and additional protective equipment has been provided for restaurant teams, including disposable gloves for people in customer and courier facing positions and face coverings.

Customers are also being asked to use contactless payment methods and cap their spend at €30 wherever possible.
