A woman has died following a house fire in County Meath.
The incident occurred just after 9.30am on Saturday morning in a house on Castlemartin Avenue in Bettystown.
RTÉ reports that the woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are currently investigating the incident.
A postmortem is due to take place at Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan.
