Met Éireann forecast that temperatures will hit 27 degrees this week in Ireland

Weather

Happy days.

Truth be told, I have absolutely no idea how you would categorise the weather over the last few days.

From weather warnings to sunshine and noticeable humidity, the conditions have fluctuated between shite and sunny.

If you’re wondering about dressing for the weather, just wear shorts and a rain jacket. Be grand.  All in a week in Ireland, eh?

Anyway, the good people at Met Éireann have some sunny news because they’re predicting that Thursday will see highs of 27 degrees in parts of Ireland.

The heatwave is coming from a wave of hot air that’s drifting in from North Africa and much like the rest of mainland Europe, Ireland will experience some sunny conditions.

Hallelujah!

They state that Thursday will be “another warm and sunny day for most of the country with highs of 20 to 27 degrees. It will stay dry generally but some rain may clip the southwest coast. A humid night will follow with temperatures not lower than 14 to 17 degrees.”

Sadly, the warm weather is set to end before the weekend arrives but Friday is also shaping up to be a decent day with another warm and sunny day expected, highs of 20 to 27 degrees.

As for the conditions from Monday to Wednesday, it’s expected to be rainy until Wednesday but fear not because Thursday and Friday should be great.

So, pint?
