Looks like more nice weather is on the cards next week.
Met Éireann have forecasted “good sunny spells” as temperatures are set to soar to 25 degrees next week.
Today will see largely dry and bright conditions for the rest of today, with a mix of patchy cloud and spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures will reach 15 to 21 degrees.
The warm weather is set to continue throughout next week too as lots of dry weather and high pressure are set to dominate the country.
Monday will stay dry for most with spells of warm sunshine and maximum temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees.
Tuesday also looks set to be a mostly dry and warm with spells of hazy sunshine. Cloud will bubble up through the day in the midlands and there will be a small chance of a light passing shower. Highest temperatures will hit 20 to 23 degrees.
Wednesday is expected to be a warm and dry summer’s day with spells of sunshine. Temperatures will hit 20 to 24 degrees.
Thursday will remain generally dry and warmer with good sunny spells. Some cloud will bubble up through the day, with the chance of a shower or two in the west towards evening.
Highest temperatures are expected to reach 21 to 25 degrees.
According to the weather experts, early indications for Friday are for another warm and mostly dry start to the day. However, cloud will increase from the southwest during the afternoon with rain extending across the country during the evening and over night.
Highest temperatures are predicted to reach between 19 to 25 degrees and after the first passage on rain on Friday, indications are that it will remain relatively mild but unsettled over the weekend with heavy showers or longer spells of rain at times.
