West Dublin had it the best...
Just about all of Ireland has been making the most of this weekend's sunshine, and Met Éireann have released their stats on just which parts of the country have had it the best so far.
Gathering data from each of their observation stations, Met Éireann revealed that the highest average temperature was recorded at the Casement Aerodrome in West Dublin, at 20 degrees Celsius.
Dublin's Phoenix Park and Meath came close behind, registering an average temperature of 19 degrees. Plenty of locations also clocked in at an average of 18 degrees, including Newport in Mayo, Tipperary, Carlow and Mullingar.
Sadly, some stations weren't so lucky. Cork registered an average temperature of 10 degrees, despite having 100% humidity... which just seems harsh on Ed Sheeran, to be honest.
But perhaps the sweetest stat of all is that every single observation station recorded exactly 0.0mm of rainfall yesterday. That can't happen very often. Lucky for us, the weather seems set to continue for the
next couple of days at least.
