Met Éireann issue weather warning for parts of Ireland ahead of Storm Imogen

Another week, another weather warning from Met Éireann…

Met Éireann have issued a statue orange wind warning for Cork and Kerry and have predicted gusts of 100 to 120 km/h along the coast.

The warning will be in effect from Monday morning at 2:00am until 9:00am.

They’ve also issued a status yellow wind alert for Clare, Limerick and Waterford which will run during the same time period.

Not content with just that bad news, Met Éireann have also issued a yellow warning for all of Ireland from Sunday night until midday on Monday warning that “an Atlantic depression will track eastwards and bring storm force winds to southwest and southern coasts of Ireland on Sunday night and Monday morning.”

They’re going to call this weather feature Storm Imogen… yes, another storm.
