Take note.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning that will affect 18 counties.

The warning is valid from 3pm on Tuesday until 5am on Wendnesday and will affect counties in Munster and Leinster.

Met Éireann has said Ireland will experience a spell of heavy rain that will move up from the south on Tuesday afternoon, bringing with it 25 to 35 mm of rain.

Most of the rain is expected to fall in the east and south of the country.

Rain will spread northwards to most areas across Ireland on Tuesday night, and will once again be heaviest in southern and eastern coastal counties.

This heavy rain will lead to a risk of spot flooding in some areas.

Wednesday will be cloudy with some patches of light rain and drizzle but it will be clear and bright with some showers extending from the west in the morning and afternoon.
