Met Éireann have issued a weather warning for 9 counties

Ah here…

Met Éireann have issued a status yellow rainfall warning which will affect nine counties.

The warning was issued at 10am on Saturday and will cover Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford.

The warning is valid from 9pm on Saturday until 9pm on Sunday night.

Saturday morning will be mainly dry with a fair amount of cloud and some sunny periods, the best of these in Connacht and Ulster.

But there will be some scattered showers in the afternoon with heavier showers developing in the south and southeast this evening. Highest temperatures of 20 to 22 degrees with moderate east to northeast breezes, a bit cooler along the east coast.

Sunday will be warm and humid with a good deal of cloud and some sunny intervals in many areas.

But there will also be widespread showers with some of these heavy with a risk of thunder. Highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees generally with moderate easterly breezes, but cooler along south and east coasts.
