There will be a risk of spot flooding in parts of the east of the country.

Jeez, Monday, give us a chance to even get into work / school / college / wake up properly before blasting us with the bad news.

Same goes for you, November. It is only the fourth day of the month and we’re already not a fan.

Sorry to say it, but somebody had to. Monday 4 November 2019? Not a huge fan, especially if you happen to be on the east of the country.

Met Éireann has just announced a status yellow weather warning for five counties, due to heavy rain with a risk of spot flooding.

The warning was issued at 8am on Monday morning for Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow and Meath and will remain in place until 9pm tonight.

And if you’re thinking things might pick up for the rest of the week, think again.
