Dublin came out on top this time around.
As you’ve probably noticed by now, we appear to be having something of a heatwave. Monday was yet another scorcher around the country, and the heat was coupled with severe humidity, which eventually became rain.
But which counties saw the highest temperatures?
Met Éireann has continued their trend of giving us the breakdown of the hottest spots in Ireland. According to the stats, Phoenix Park came out on top with 27.7 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately, Mayo had the worst of it — the weather station in Belmullet registered a maximum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius — though, to be fair, before the heatwave came upon us, that was pretty good.
