Storm Henry, how are ya?
Yes, our fair island will be visited this week by yet another storm and Met Éireann have sprung into action, issuing a warning designed to keep the people of Ireland safe from whatever Henry has in store for us.

There is a status orange wind warning for much of the country, which means that the affected areas could be “significantly impacted.” These areas are Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick. Sure that’s practically the whole country, isn’t it?
According to Met Éireann, Southwest to west winds will reach mean speeds between 65 and 80 km/h with gusts between 110 and 130 km/h during Sunday night and through Monday.
There is a yellow status wind warning for other parts of the country, such as Leinster, Cavan, Tipperary, Monaghan, Roscommon and Wexford, though this is less serious.
