Come on, Ireland, work with us here.
Yesterday, we shared a photo from this weekend’s weather report – a feature which reported sunburn, hail, and thunderstorms all in one.
Turns out that the weather is about to get no more predictable over the course of today, according to Met Éireann.
We’ve just read their forecast for the day and we’re absolutely none the wiser about what kind of day we’re about to have.
Sunny spells this morning, but widespread heavy showers developing, some thundery & of hail. Sleet on high ground in west. Highs 7 to 9C.

Just in case you missed it, that’s sunshine followed by heavy showers – firstly of rain, but then of hailstones. At best, we’ll be getting temperatures of around 9 degrees… but also sleet, if you’re from the west. And thunder! Don’t forget the thunder.
So, wear whatever the hell you want, you won’t be safe no matter what.
