The Kerry actor’s car spun into a wall.
Michael Fassbender is said to be “okay” after being involved in a crash during a qualifying lap for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A long-time lover of motorsports, the Kerry actor has been training for years to compete in the endurance-focused sports car race held in France.
However, the 45-year-old lost control of his vehicle and wound up colliding with a barrier, leading to a red flag being raised by officials.

In a Twitter post following the collision, Porsche Motorsport wrote that, though the car was damaged, Fassbender is “okay”.
“Hollywood star Michael Fassbender lost the rear of his No. 93 Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR under breaking and hit the barrier.
“Driver is okay, car damaged on the front.”
