Michael Healy-Rae was expected back at work this morning after being attacked by a cow on a farm on Sunday.
The newly-elected Kerry TD has taken to Cork University Hospital to have his injuries fully assessed, amid concerns he had suffered a fracture.
However, a source close to the family revealed that he was fine and would be back in work today.
It is not known how he managed to anger the cow.
