He hasn’t always attracted headlines for the right reasons, but we’re glad to give Michael Healy-Rae credit for a quite brilliant response to a post on Twitter earlier today.
There’s no doubting that the Healy-Rae name is an instantly recognisable name in this country but given the often unfavourable publicity surrounding various representatives of the family over the years, it’s fair to say that they aren’t always talked about in a positive light.
Still, everyone is deserving of credit where it’s due and fair play to Michael Healy-Rae, he gave us all a good laugh on Twitter today when responding to a post about the difference between his Dad Jackie and fellow Kerry native Michael Fassbender as far as the beauty stakes were concerned.
He’s come out with some harebrained stuff in his time, but all credit to him, this is brilliant and it earned deserved kudos from the man who had been thoroughly outplayed in this particular match-up.
