Monica Lewinsky

A big name.

Monica Lewinsky will be the keynote speaker at the Talent Summit in Dublin this February.

The activist and former White House intern is known for campaigning for a safer social media environment and addresses such topics as digital resilience, privacy, cultivating compassion, overcoming shame and equality for women.

She will speak at the Talent Summit in the Convention Centre in Dublin on 27 February.

In March 2015, Lewinsky was a speaker at the annual TED Conference in Vancouver. Her speech, “The Price of Shame” has been viewed over 13 million times.

She became a household name around the world in 1998 after it came to light that she and President Bill Clinton had engaged in numerous sexual encounters in 1995 and 1996.

Lewinsky, then an intern in her 20s, and Clinton, a married sitting president in his 50s, were at the centre of a scandal that rocked the US for years.

She is a founding board member of the Childhood Resilience Foundation, on the advisory board of Project Rockit and is an Ambassador for The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Programme and Bystander Revolution.
