Adam Johnson is facing 6 years in prison after he was found guilty of sexual activity with a child at Bradford Crown Court this afternoon. The player was back in front of Judge Jonathan Rose who stated that the former Sunderland and Man City winger had ” no remorse because you still deny the most serious offence” and that his actions were “calculated, considered and carefully-orchestrated” against the 15-year-old girl.
Prosecutor Kate Blackwell stressed the importance of the “severe psychological harm that the defendant has caused to the victim” and more details have emerged about the case.
