Multiple injured as Delta Air Lines plane flips upside down and crashes in Toronto

Breaking news.

A Delta Air Lines plane has flipped upside down and crashed in Toronto only minutes ago.

Shocking footage shows the plane upside down on the tarmac with its wings missing.

The news is still emerging, however it is thought that eight people have been injured in the incident as per CTV News. 

The Delta plane is a CRJ 900 flying from Minnesota to Toronto Pearson airport.

Taking to X, Toronto Pearson acknowledged the incident, saying “Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis.

“Emergency teams are responding.”

“All passengers and crew are accounted for.”

This story is still developing.

This breaking news follows on from a spate of plane crashes in the Untied States.

The NTSB is currently investigating into multiple plane crashes in the preceding weeks.

This follows a fatal crash at Washington Reagan airport in which CRJ-700 aircraft crashed with a military helicopter resulting in the deaths of 67 people.
