Not even the salary of £100,000 would make us take this job as a nanny

Anyone who wants the role won't be able to slack off.

We’re not sure it’s worth it.

It’s a parent’s prerogative to be fussy when looking for someone to mind the kids, but this job listing might be a little excessive.

A woman in the UK has advertised for a nanny – and is willing to pay big money.

The mother is offering a £100,000 salary (around €110,000) for a live-in minder for her four children who will have to work hard for their money.

“I feel it is best to be upfront – the role is demanding,” the ad on Childcare.co.uk states.

“The candidate must be willing to work six days a week, 7am to 8pm.”

The nanny must not have any kids of their own and as the family splits its time between homes in London, Atlanta, Barbados and Cape Town, the nanny would be required to fly internationally up to three times a week.

This demanding mam is also looking for someone with 15 years of childcare experience, as well as a degree in child psychology.

The nanny will also need to have self-defence training, but “if the right candidate doesn’t already have this training, we will provide and pay for it.”

Sounds intense – but if you thought you might get a break while the kids are at school, think again.

“Our children are homeschooled and require constant attention and supervision, even when they are with their teachers” the ad continues.

“We’d like our nanny to participate in lessons where appropriate, to help further their studies outside of the classroom.”

Luckily, the family’s life of luxury will mean that there are some perks for the nanny.

The successful candidate will have access to cars including a Porsche, Range Rover and Maserati and though he or she will have to eat with the kids, the meals will be prepared by a Michelin-star chef.

Oh, and one other thing – the nanny will be asked to take leave for the family to enjoy quality time together, but don’t go too wild.

“We do not mind what the nanny does with their free time, however binge drinking or drug-taking will not be tolerated and will result in instant dismissal.”

The successful candidate will also have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which kind of makes us wonder if the family in question is famous.

The Beckhams are hardly looking for a minder, are they?
