MyTaxi have announced that they are offering a €10 discount to anyone getting a taxi to a polling station for tomorrow’s Eighth Amendment referendum.
In a message sent via email to all existing MyTaxi customers, the company stated that they would offer a €10 discount, starting tomorrow morning until the poses close at 10pm.
The full statement said “The referendum is important so we don’t want anyone to miss out on their chance to vote! We’re offering customers nationwide a €10 discount until the polls close at 10pm tomorrow.
As a valued mytaxi customer we want to give you a heads up on this limited offer before we release it tomorrow morning on our Twitter page.
To avail of the discount, simply add the Promo Code below to the Profile section of your app. We advise that you pre-book for a suitable time tomorrow to avoid disappointment.”
It appears that more information will be released via MyTaxi’s Twitter page tomorrow morning.
With over 3.2 million people registered to vote in the upcoming referendum, it could be a busy day for taxi men and women all over the country tomorrow.
Polls will open at 7am across Ireland on Friday morning, and will close at 10pm.
