Better start checking those tickets.

The National Lottery has confirmed that a €1 million EuroMillions ticket from last Friday’s draw was sold in a Dublin newsagents.

The National Lottery is calling on EuroMillions players in Blackrock in Dublin and its surrounding areas to check their tickets after it confirmed that the Spar store in Woodbine Park in Blackrock was where Friday’s €1 million EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ was sold.

The ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning raffle code from Friday’s EuroMillions draw, which is worth €1,005,000 is: I LLD 48404.

“We are absolutely thrilled. The shop itself is a local community store and we know each and every customer by name so we’re 99% sure that the win is from the local community which makes it even more satisfying,” said the owner of the winning store, Aidan Cronnelly.

“We are genuinely thrilled for the winner, whoever they may be and we wish them every ounce of luck with their big prize.”

Last night’s EuroMillions draw was the second draw in the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ event which guarantees to make five brand new millionaires in Ireland over two weeks. The next draw in the raffle will take place on Tuesday 17 August.

Meanwhile, there was no winner of Saturday night’s €10,337,475 Lotto draw which seen three players win the Match 5 + Bonus prize, coming just short of scooping the mega prize.

The three winners who each win the consolation prize of €22,332 were from Cork, Meath with another player from Limerick who played online.

The winning Lotto numbers for Saturday night’s jackpot were: 09, 15, 25, 30, 32, 34 and the bonus was 42.

The Cork player purchased their Quick Pick ticket at the EuroSpar store on the Newtown Road in Cobh, meanwhile, the winner from Meath played their Quick Pick ticket at McKeons Love Fresh store in Kells.

There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot prize of over €10.3 million, meaning Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot will now roll to an estimated €11 million.

The National Lottery has called on all big winning ticketholders from the weekend draws to sign the back of their winning tickets and to get in touch with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] for arrangements to be made for them to claim their prize.
