A Westmeath player also won €6.4 million last week and someone in Mayo has a ticket worth €1 million – however, neither have come forward yet.

One lucky Lotto player in Cork is over €2.4 million richer this morning after the National Lottery confirmed one lucky player had bagged Saturday’s whopping €2,469,871 jackpot.

The National Lottery also confirmed that it plans to reveal the location of Ireland’s latest Lotto jackpot win in the coming days.

The win was the second within a week as an incredible €6.4 million was won by one lucky player in Atholne on Saturday 22 May.

Following last night’s Lotto jackpot win, the National Lottery is now encouraging all its Lotto players, especially in Co. Cork to check their tickets in case they’ve managed to secure the whopping prize.

The National Lottery is also continuing to urge Lotto players in Athlone and Castlebar to check their tickets carefully from last Saturday’s draw.

One lucky Westmeath player won €6.4 million after scooping the 22 May jackpot, meanwhile, a player in Mayo has a ticket worth €1 million after winning the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on the same night.

Neither player has come forward as of yet.

The winning numbers for Saturday night’s €2,469,871 Lotto jackpot are, 09, 15, 28, 34, 39, 46, and the bonus number is 26.

“This is why we love our Lotto game – celebrations have only started to quieten down following last Saturday’s €6.4 million win in Athlone and now we have yet another newly minted millionaire in Co. Cork to celebrate,” said a Lottery spokesperson on Sunday.

“This is the seventh millionaire to be made in the Lotto game in 2021 so we are urging all of our players in Cork to check their tickets carefully to see if they are the lucky winner.

“If you are the winner, stay calm and be sure to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place. They should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”
