Based on the 2010 movie, the show has been on air since 2012.
In a video posted May 12 on YouTube, Ayissha Morgan, who appeared on the show in 2015, alleges that she was sexually harassed by the show's host Neev Schulman (pictured on the right in the above image) throughout the production.
Morgan then released a second video claiming that one of the production assistants got her drunk before Schulman invited her into his room and "propositioned her".
As details on the reported conduct emerge, a spokesperson for MTV has released a statement to The Daily Beast saying:
"We take these allegations very seriously. We’re working with Critical Content, our third party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation and we’ve put a pause on shooting until the investigation is completed.”
Schulman is married to writer Laura Perlongo, with whom he has a 17-month-old child.
Schulman's publicist has also released a statement direct from Neev Schulman, denying all charges:
"The behaviour described in this video did not happen and I'm fortunate that there are a number of former colleagues who were present during this time period who are willing to speak up with the truth. I have always been transparent about my life and would always take responsibility for my actions—but these claims are false."
