The incident took place on Saturday afternoon.
A 67-year-old woman has been killed following a two-car crash in Kerry and a man in his 50s – the driver of the same car – was taken to the hospital and is currently in a serious condition.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at around 12.30pm.
The woman was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to University Hospital Kerry by ambulance but was later pronounced dead.
A man and woman, both aged in their 20s, were the occupants of the second car and both are in University Hospital Kerry where their condition is understood to be stable.
