Weather

Sun’s out, fun’s out.

T-shirt weather, 99 weather, call it what you like but either way, it’s good news for the people of Ireland.

Following Storm Hannah, Met Éireann is forecasting that the coming week will be much more pleasant, with several days of warm weather.

Monday will have a few showers but also sunny periods, and top temperatures of up to 16 degrees. This trend continues throughout the week, with temps staying in the mid-teens and sunny periods abound, punctuated by showers, because we still live in Irelad.

Wednesday will see “A bright start to the day with good sunshine during the morning time. It will turn showery around midday with some heavy showers in the afternoon and evening. Highs of 12 or 13 degrees.”

Thursday will also start sunny and bright, with the eastern counties remaining dry and sunny.

The best news is saved for last, with Met Éireann predicting “a good deal of dry weather with temps ranging from 15 to 19 degrees” for Friday and next weekend.
