No new Covid-19 deaths, 18 new cases

The latest Covid-19 figures in Ireland have been released.

There has been no new Covid-19 related deaths reported in the Republic of Ireland in the past 24 hours.

However, 18 further people have been diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures released.

As it stands, the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland is 1,741.

According to the Department of Health, there has now been a total of 25,527 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

As of Sunday morning (5 July), a total of 22 confirmed Covid-19 cases were being treated in hospitals across the country.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the world, the latest figures show that Covid-19 has killed at least 530,000 people, while it is believed that over 11 million people have been infected with the virus.
