No new deaths related to Covid-19 reported in Ireland, 320 new cases

Ireland has administered nearly one million doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

There have been no new deaths reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre today.

The HPSC has been notified of an additional 320 cases of Covid-19.

There has now been a total of 4,718 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland, and 238,466 confirmed cases.

Validation of data at the HPSC has resulted in the denotification of two confirmed cases.

The figure of 238,466 confirmed cases reflects this.

As of last Friday, 2 April, there have been 923,878 doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in Ireland.

655,292 people have received their first dose and 268,586 people have received their second dose.

Meanwhile, Ireland administered its highest number of Covid-19 vaccines in one day last Friday, with 30,503 people receiving jabs.
