OFFICIAL: McDonald’s will be adding spicy chicken nuggets to their menu in Ireland

Chicken Nuggets

What a time to be alive.

We celebrated the Apollo 11 mission a few weeks ago and we’re fairly certain that 50 years on from now, 25 September will be regarded as a momentous day in history.

Right now, we reckon somebody is creating an online petition to make that day a Bank Holiday because Spicy McNuggets will be available in Ireland from 25 September onwards.

Oh yes, McDonald’s Ireland have officially confirmed that they’ll be available nationwide and that they’re bringing their nug game to a whole new level.

The limited-edition nuggets will be served with a tabasco-based spicy tomato dip for those looking for a little extra heat.

Without any hint of hyperbole*, for nugget-lovers everywhere, this is the equivalent of David O’Leary’s penalty vs Romania, Ireland winning Eurovision, Ted kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse, Greg winning Love Island.

It truly is a famous day in Irish history that will echo through eternity.

Get ‘em while they’re hot!

*Hyperbole may have been present in that particular sentence.
