Dublin Airport has apologised to passengers whose travel plans have been affected.

Dublin Airport have confirmed that the main runway has been reopened and operations have been resumed.

Flight operations were suspended at Dublin Airport on Tuesday afternoon after a plane was disabled on a runway at the airport shortly after landing.
In a post on its Twitter account, Dublin Airport said that flight operations were expected to be affected for approximately half an hour as a result of the incident and apologised to passengers whose travel plans had been affected.
We have had to suspend flight operations for a short time as an aircraft which had landed is currently disabled on the runway. We expect services to resume in about 30 mins. Apologies for the impact this will have on travel plans. Safety is always our key priority.

The aircraft will be towed from the runway and we will resume flight operations as quickly as we can.

Dublin Airport said that the plane in question will be towed away from the runway and that operations will be resumed as quickly as possible.
