A police investigation into the incident is underway

Ozzy Osbourne's former guitarist Jake E. Lee has been reportedly "shot multiple times" whilst he was out walking his dog.

A representative for the musician said he was hit "at random" while out walking in Las Vegas in the early hours of the morning. He is currently receiving treatment in intensive care, and the incident is under police investigation.

The representative told the Daily Mail: "Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital."

Best known for being the lead guitarist in Osbourne's band, Lee worked with the Black Sabbath frontman for five years from 1982 to 1987.

Lee had been drafted into Osbourne's band following the death of Randy Rhodes in a plane crash.

He got the gig as band guitarist after sending Oxxy's wife Sharon a photo and video of him performing.

He ended up touring the world with the Birmingham rock legend, until he was fired from the band in 1987, which Lee has always claimed came out of the blue.

Speaking earlier this year, Lee revealed he hadn't spoken to the Osbourne's since he left the band, but insisted there was no animosity towards the famous couple, the Mirror reports.

After his work with Osbourne, Lee became a member of Badlands, before forming the Red Dragon Cartel in 2013.
