Emergency services are at the scene of a collision on Monday afternoon following an incident involving a male pedestrian and a car in Sandyford, south Dublin.
A male pedestrian, believed to be in his 30s, was involved in a collision with a car on Blackthorn Avenue in Sandyford, according to Gardaí.
Following the incident, the pedestrian was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital. His condition is not yet known.
AA Roadwatch have since confirmed that the road is closed. They took to Twitter this afternoon to announce that local diversions are in place as a result.
