President Trump made his first ever address to the American nation from the Oval Office on Tuesday evening, which many believed featured vague reasonings for the border wall, a lot of passing the buck to explain the government shutdown, and a tremendous amount of fear-mongering.
This was quickly followed by a response from the Democratic party, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer attempted to give their take on Trump's national address about immigration and the US-Mexico border.

Viewers were quick to point out that as much as they might disliked Trump's address, the Democrats had at least two things he didn't: (1) An ever-staring co-presenter, and (2) A weirdly over-flagged backdrop.
