‘I can’t focus on the person speaking because of the other person staring at me!’
President Trump made his first ever address to the American nation from the Oval Office on Tuesday evening, which many believed featured vague reasonings for the border wall, a lot of passing the buck to explain the government shutdown, and a tremendous amount of fear-mongering.
This was quickly followed by a response from the Democratic party, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer attempted to give their take on Trump’s national address about immigration and the US-Mexico border.

Viewers were quick to point out that as much as they might disliked Trump’s address, the Democrats had at least two things he didn’t: (1) An ever-staring co-presenter, and (2) A weirdly over-flagged backdrop.
