Thanks to a tweet this morning, we have a great picture of the mud-spattered Munster man playing for Young Munster.

We don’t know why Ronan O’Gara tweeted this picture, with no words, this morning but we’re sure it is some in joke between himself and his former Ireland and Munster team-mate.

Whatever the reason, we’re glad he did. A bit of digging reveals it is an INPHO snap from a 2008 Young Munster match that O’Connell played in on his way back from injury.

A few people have commented to ROG that O’Connell looks a bit like WWE star Sheamus in the pic. We couldn’t possibly comment.
