The Hubble telescope spotted a huge smiling face in outer space.
The Hubble telescope deployed by NASA has been capturing mind-boggling pictures of space for over two decades now; everything from shooting stars to the majesty of giant, swirling, groups of galaxies.
We’d hazard a guess and say that few of their images have ever featured a GIANT SMILEY FACE though.
This incredible image taken by the Hubble shows a galaxy cluster known as SDSS J1038+4849 (just rolls off the tongue that) and the result is spectacular.

It’s only a matter of time before the name SDSS J1038+4849 enters the lexicon of modern day life to ultimately replace the word ‘smile’.
For example, “I’ll wipe that SDSS J1038+4849 off your face!” or maybe a wedding photographer getting a group to pose for a big picture, “OK everybody, 3-2-1… SDSS J1038+4849!”
