Let’s hope this isn’t the start of a new trend…
The water charges have caused outrage across the country and a lot of people aren’t happy which is absolutely understandable. The charges will affect everyone in the country and it might start affecting your socialising too because a bar in Dublin are now charging people for a pint of tap water.
Tap water has been free in Ireland forever but if you’re in Dicey’s on Harcourt Street and you are craving a big icy glass of water, it will cost you 20 cent.
We know people who could barely except it when clubs and pubs started charging for Mi Wadi so this is going to upset a lot of people. Seriously though, charging for tap water is a bit much. Cop on…

We wonder what would happen if we started charging our friends 20 cent for a glass of water… Nah, that would never happen in our house because we have no friends…
