Irish people and sunshine go together like chalk and cheese, as this guy from Inishowen recently found out…
Temperatures all around Ireland are reaching as high as 20C today, putting us on par with the likes of the South of France and parts of Spain. However, while the locals in Montpellier and Girona might be used to hot weather and the sunshine, it’s safe to say that us Irish certainly are not.
Take this young lad from Donegal for example (who shall remain nameless) who picked up a bit more than just a nice suntan up in Inishowen earlier today.
JOE reader Ali Mc Laughlin sent the pic into us here at JOE and said: “Nice bit of suntan from Inishowen. He was the same colour as the paper bag this morning. Perhaps it might teach some other eejits to use sun cream.”
We certainly hope it does, Ali… We don’t want a repeat of “the most sunburnt guy in Ireland”.
